What IS the Game Society?
CreativeGamers.co.uk is the official homepage of the Computer Game Society at Northumbria University, within the North East of England. Unlike the Role Playing and Gaming Society at Northumbria, our society is based around computer and video games.
Our society is open to all students at Northumbria University, and was established by students on the Game Design & Production and Software Engineering courses there.
Our aim is to meet every week or fortnight to talk about and play games!
Our Mission Statement
- To bring together a group of like minded people in order to discuss games and the game industry.
- To take part in game playing sessions together and try a wide variety of gaming genres.
- To play for fun, and to also take part in competitive tournaments as well.
Future Plans
Our plan is to gain more members and grow as a society so that we will one day take on bigger gaming activities sponsored by us and to also win the society of the year award at Northumbria!
